América-ie es
la primera oportunidad que se abre en este continente para revisar los
modelos conceptuales existentes de la Inteligencia Emocional, continuando
así con los esfuerzos realizados en el 1er. Congreso Internacional de
Inteligencia Emocional por la Universidad de Málaga, ampliando la temática
al campo aplicado e incluyendo experiencias concretas dentro de la
programación.
El encuentro
es una oportunidad para que profesionales de América, Europa y otras
regiones del mundo, intercambien ideas, informaciones y experiencias
mediante la presentación de investigaciones académicas y prácticas
profesionales, como así también por medio de la realización de talleres.
El congreso
contribuirá a actualizar paradigmas, métodos y técnicas en un contexto de
respeto por la diversidad y los valores humanos. De igual manera,
resaltará la importancia de aplicar los aportes de la Inteligencia
Emocional a programas de desarrollo humano en distintos ámbitos sociales.
El concepto
de inteligencia emocional ha producido en los últimos años un fuerte
impacto tanto en el ámbito teórico como en el campo aplicado. Por un lado, el interés científico
en Inteligencia Emocional se muestra en la cantidad de publicaciones
especiales de prestigiosas revistas especializadas. Se pueden encontrar artículos
defendiendo, criticando y hasta destruyendo el concepto de IE. Además
existen crecientes ediciones de libros sobre IE, traducidas a diferentes
idiomas en muchas partes del planeta.
Por otro
lado, una de las razones que explican la amplia difusión en ámbitos
aplicados, es el reconocimiento hecho por profesionales sobre la
importancia y relevancia que tienen las emociones y los sentimientos en
los resultados de sus trabajos.
La
sensibilidad con la que el lector en general ha recibido esta temática
habla de la necesidad que la sociedad tiene de dar respuestas al
autoconocimiento emocional. Una sociedad madura debe asumir a nivel masivo el conocimiento y la
regulación de su vida emocional tanto en lo personal como en lo
organizacional. Las
emociones son explicitas, pero no por ello conocidas. Este congreso es un
aporte para socializar e implementar este conocimiento.
América-ie es
el 1er Congreso Mundial Científico Práctico de Inteligencia Emocional
organizado por la Fundación RBS. Se realizará del 25 al 29 de Agosto de
2008, en la ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina.

América-ie is the first opportunity in Latin America to revise
the existent conceptual models of Emotional Intelligence, continuing in
this way with the efforts made in the 1st International Congress on
Emotional Intelligence by Universidad de Malaga, including now the applied
field, with EI experiences in the program.
The meeting is opportunity for professionals from
the Americas, Europe and other regions of the world, to exchange ideas,
information and experiences as they present to others their academic
research and professional work, as well as through the realization of
workshops.
The Congress will contribute to update paradigms,
methods and techniques in a context of respect for diversity and human
values. Furthermore, it will highlight the importance of applying
Emotional Intelligence contributions to human development programs in
different social scopes.
The
concept of Emotional Intelligence has had in the last years a great impact
in both scientific and empirical fields. On the one hand the scientific interest in
Emotional Intelligence is shown in the amount of publications in special
issues made by prestigious journals. We can find interesting papers defending and
criticizing or even killing and burring the term EI. Furthermore there are
several books on EI, translated to different languages in many parts of
the world.
On the
other hand, one of the reasons to explain the fast and wide diffusion of
the term EI in professional fields is the acknowledgement made by
professionals of the importance and relevance of emotions and feelings for
their work outcomes.
The
sensitivity with which readers in general have received the concept shows
the necessity that society has to give answers to emotional self
awareness. A mature society must be responsible for the
awareness and regulation of its emotional life towards its development.
Emotions are explicit, but not necessarily known. This congress is an
opportunity to socialize and implement this knowledge.
América-ie is the 1str World Scientific-Practical Congress on
Emotional Intelligence organized by RBS Foundation. It will be held from
August 25th to August 29th 2008, in Córdoba, Argentina.
